Winner of the 2009 Hastings International Piano Concerto
2009 Winner of the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition Class 285 was
Jonathan Wilson from Australia, studying at the Guildhall School of Music
who played Tchaikovsky Concerto no. 1 in Bb Major
Runners up were Phillipa Harrison and Madalina Rusu
Jonathan won £1000 First Prize, also the Sir Philip Ledger Prize for the Youngest Pianist to play in the Finals.
