Award of £25.00 for the best original composition in each of the classes 3852, 3856 and 3858.

Each Primary School Ensemble performing in class 3900 will recieve a donation from the Foster Charitable Trust towards the purchase of musical instruments, music, or travelling expenses.

New Instrumental Gold Medal Championship for 2012 with Cash Prize

Instead of our individual Gold Medal classes in piano, strings, woodwind, recorder brass, keyboard and accordion, we have now introduced a brand new Championship Class for 2012. Each section will hold a Qualifying Class and the winners of each class will compete head-to-head for a prestigious Instrumental Gold Medal together with a Cash Prize of £100.
