Note: Performers placed first, second or third, with 85 marks or more from classes 761,762 801 and 802, in either Ballet or Character, will be eligible to dance in the Phyllis Godfrey Championship (Gold Medal) class upon payment of the class entry fee at the end of classes 761, 762, 801 and 802. Payment is to be made immediately to the General Secretary at the Festival office.

Ballet 2 minutes 2. Character 2½ minutes Award: Bronze Medal Note: Silver Medal. Performers for this class will have qualified by obtaining first second or third place in either ballet or character in classes 741, 742, 751, or 752. If nominated please report to the General Secretary immediately at the Festival office to pay the entry fee shown in the Syllabus. Eligible entrants will not be allowed to dance if the fee is not paid.

Ballet 2 minutes 2. Character 2½ minutes Award: Silver Medal Note: The Phyllis Godfrey Championship. To enter this class, performers will have qualified by being placed first, second or third in either ballet or character classes 761, 762, 801, or 802 and by achieving a minimum mark of 85 in both classes. If nominated please report to the General Secretary immediately at the Festival office to pay the entry fee shown in the Syllabus. Eligible entrants will not be allowed to dance if the fee is not paid.
Please note that the qualifying dances must be repeated in The Phyllis Godfrey Championship class 843. It follows, therefore, that compulsory steps must be included in the qualifying dance to be eligible to dance in the Phyllis Godfrey Championship class. To be eligible the following steps are compulsory. For Girls: pirouettes on pointes, a percentage of batterie and sustained relevé on one leg. For Boys: double tour en l'air, batterie and pirouettes. Ballet and character must be on pointe and both dances must be completed. Performers must repeat the ballet and character items as danced in the qualifying classes 761,762, 801 and 802 and must have included the compulsory steps on both occasions. A mark of 85 or above is required for the award of the trophy. If the adjudicator considers the winning performance is sufficiently exceptional to be awarded a mark of 90, then a Gold Medal will also be awarded. 843 Dancing £16.00 The Phyllis Godfrey Championship
