2009 Winner of the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition Class 285 was Jonathan Wilson from Australia, studying at the Guildhall School of Music
who played Tchaikovsky Concerto no. 1 in Bb Major
Runners up were Phillipa Harrison and Madalina Rusu
Jonathan won £1000 First Prize, also the Sir Philip Ledger Prize for the Youngest Pianist to play in the Finals. |
Errata
