Exciting News!Hastings Musical Festival with the Kowitz Family Foundation are pleased to announce that the first prize for our International Piano Concerto Competition has been increased to £2500!![]() This outstanding competition provides a much needed stepping stone for promising pianists aiming at the world stage. This year, our judges are Julian Jacobson and Frank Wibaut, with the opening stage of the competition being split across two days - the 28th February and the 1st March. The final is scheduled for Saturday, 12th of March starting at 6:00 PM. As per previous years, competitors will be playing the Bluthner Grand Piano and promise three days worth of excellent concerto performances. Entry forms are available for download here. |
Errata
Despite our best efforts, a few minor errors have crept into the printed version of the Syllabus for the 2012 Festival.
Classes 3212 and 3508 (Strings and Woodwind Gold Medal Qualifying Classes) the age limit should be Any Age.
