JP Omari has agreed to judge the Street Dance classes. His belief in dancing with funk, “flava” and having fun; in achievement through discipline and hard work; and in the art form of Hip Hop, has helped Streetfunk to become one of the biggest Hip Hop schools in the South East spreading across Brighton & Hove, Portslade and Lewes (East Sussex). JP performs, teaches, hosts events and judges throughout the UK and internationally, working with: The Floor Crusaders – an award winning UK breakdance crew; SickStep - the famous American hip hop dance crew; The Urban Playground - who combine Parkour with dance in site-specific street performance working with two of the artform’s crea The winner of Vauxhall Tribes Regional Hip Hop Competition 2006 & their National Competition in 2007; choreographer of a short dance film for Channel 4; JP is also known as a competitor from BBC1’s 2006 series Strictly Dance Fever. |
