International Piano Concerto CompetitionThe contest will be held in two stages:a Preliminary Round held on 5th and 6th March, and the Finals on 24th March 2012 THE HASTINGS INTERNATIONAL PIANO CONCERTO FINALS CONCERT Saturday 24th March 2012 at 6pm Jury: Frank Wibaut (Chairman)United Kingdom; Mr Jonathan Marten,United Kingdom; Alexander Mullenbach, Austria; John O'Conor, Eire. Each finalist will play his/her chosen concerto in its entirety with Finchley Chamber Orchestra conducted by David Lardi First Prize: £2500 and The Blüthner Trophy * At least one Concerto Performance with Orchestra. * A prestigious Country House Recital. * A London Recital at the Lansdowne Club, Berkeley Square. Second Prize: £700 Third Prize: £400 THE PRELIMINARY ROUND 5th and 6th March 2012 Adjudicators: Frank Wibaut and Murray Maclachlan Performers will play as required by the adjudicators, any movement(s) of the prepared concerto, or any part or parts thereof.
