Would you like to support Hastings Musical Festival and present a trophy?  The Singing Section has several classes which do not yet have a trophy.  Our trophies have been presented over the years by local companies, former (and current) competitors and from families involved in the Festival, often in memory of a relative or to support a particular style of music they enjoyed.  We are very grateful to everyone who has donated a trophy in the past, but new classes and age groups are constantly being added and we would ideally like to have a trophy for every class to reward the winner in an often hard-fought competition.

We are very happy for the trophy donor to present the prize to the class winner if they wish– the trophy often means more to the winner if they know the history behind it, or why it was donated.

The following classes currently do not have trophies:

2012 Singing Solo Boys Age 15 and under 18

2020 Singing Solo Girls Age 9

2028 Singing Solo Girls Age 11

2048 Verse and Song Age 9 and under 12

2052 Verse and Song Age 12 and under 16

2056 Verse and Song Age 16 and over

2116 Self Accompanied Age 11 and under 16

2134 Junior Recital Age 13 and under 18 (New Class)

2292 Singer and Accompanist Age 15 under 18

2296 Show Song, Duet Age 9 and under 13

2308 Duet Age under 13

2320 Operatic Duet Age 18 and over

2326 Show Song Ensemble Age under 18

2334 Pop Vocal Duet and Ensemble Age 14 and over (New Class)

Perhaps you won a class in the past and would like future winners to have a trophy?  Is there a particular style of singing which you enjoy and would like to encourage?  Or maybe you just would like to support the Festival, or give something back after years of taking part?  If you are interested in providing a trophy for any of the above classes, please contact the Singing Secretary.
